WHO WE ARE
The church started as an outreach connected with the 'Christian Revival Crusade' denomination in May 1984 with David and Nuia Armstrong as Ministers. On the 30th September 1997, the church ceased to be a member of the 'Christian Revival Crusade' and changed its name to 'Fire and Rain Christian Centre'. It has sought fellowship with other churches through relationship rather than by denomination. By building relationships with other assemblies, we are able to invite the Pastors of these assemblies to come and minister to us. Pastor David and Nuia became members of 'Ministers Fellowship International'. Through MFI we have access to mature ministers who can advise, guide and arbitrate should the need ever arise, and of course the fellowship of fellow ministers. OUR VISION To see a people who know how to worship Jesus Christ, who live by Biblical values and so enjoy the blessing of being made whole in their spirit, soul and body, that they have an effect on others wherever they are, or go. |
