OUR GOAL
Glorify the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me. (John 12:32) If we mean business with God in exalting Him, it must mean the salvation of souls. Reproduction comes out of intimacy, as leaders we must know what it is to be in love with the Lord, because we can't help people to get close to God if we are not there ourselves.(2 Tim.2:6) Praise and Worship is an important tool to achieve the goal of knowing the presence of God. In these last days the Father is seeking true Worshippers. (John 4:23) To become a true Worshipper also means to be prepared to change, as we can only worship the Lord in truth when we worship Him in love, and if our desire is to reach this goal, then to enable us to come into His presence. God will put His finger on the things in our life, that are hindering us from coming into His presence. To lift Jesus high also involves being the best we can be as an individual and as an Assembly. We believe this involves the development of each personality into Christ likeness and in accordance with Rom.10:14-17; and lCor.l2:12- 27 each one needs to find their function in the Body of Christ. The Leadership has a goal to help each one fulfill their ministry. If the people of this Peninsula are to be affected by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we must be dedicated to drawing closer to the Lord, lifting Him up and wanting to be the best we can be for His Glory, whether as an Assembly or as individuals. Otherwise we will miss out on being a part of the outpouring of His Glory and Power. |
